Hi friend!
I have a couple of scrapbook pages to share with you, but I confess I am running a little behind in the 31 day challenge. Last week was crazy with work (and a super fun concert), and I am looking forward to catching up this week.
Here are a couple to keep you going:
I used Stampin’ Up!s See a Silhouette DSP on whisper white background, with Night of Navy and Mossy Meadow carstock. I was inspired by a demonstrator named Ann Lewis to make these pages!
These pages would be so perfect for a summer wedding or even vintage photos. Stampin’ Up!s Perennial Essence DSP is one of my favourites. Being on the road, I don’t have a lot of sentiments with me but I fussy cutted some of the roses to decorate the pages.
I wanted to make pretty pink pages and I have a limited amount of supplies. So I dug out my Dinoroar DSP, of course! I used the For the Love of Felt embellishments out of the kit, lots of pearls and enamel dots to add a bit of fancy. The sentiment (smile and capture the good times), and Lovely Lipstick ink.
It’s time for me to catch up, if I’m going to make the 31 day Challenge. My airplane was a handful last week, I had crew in town and was completely busy with work. So happy to finally have a chance to get some more pages done.
In other news, I had a really fun weekend! My friend Cheryl whom I know from Fed Ex materials is currently working in Greensboro and I was hoping to go visit her. Given the crazy week I had I was tempted to cancel, but she wanted me to come join her at a concert. We ended up going to see Queen with Adam Lambert! What an amazing surprise, it was the best concert ever.
We explored Charlotte NC on Saturday and travelled to Greensboro and met up with our friends John and Jana at the Hillbilly Hoe Down for home cooking. We even heard some down home band at the Music Hall! It was a super fun weekend, well worth the 7 hour drive. Always a fun adventure with Cheryl (last year we did the Biltmore House in Asheville)!
I hope you are all having a great summer! I can’t wait for the weather here to calm down, it’s still pretty hot. We will chat soon my friends!
